Your typical popular energy beverage gets its energy from a mixture of caffeine, sugar (or sugar substitute) and some sort of energy enhancer (like taurine or ginseng, or whatever).
Usually these ingredients are okay in small doses taken individually and alone. The problems occur when people take these together - like in an energy drink, or worse, if more than one can is consumed.
This is usually when people begin to experience nervousness, anxiety, racing heartbeat, jittery or jerky movements, or shaky hands, etc.,
While this may not seem like enough of a reason to go the doctor, it does show that your body is having an unusually negative reaction to something you are putting in it!
Over time and repeated usuage, you are creating a negative environment in your body that could have serious consequences and that in itself is unhealthy.
